What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you provide. If you choose to accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use this website, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and interactions with the site.

Why we use it

We use your email address to manage the waitlist and send early access and product updates. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting us.

We use analytics to understand what is useful, improve the website and shape The Web Assistant. Analytics only runs after you accept it, and you can change your choice using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Who processes your information

We use Netlify to host this website and securely receive waitlist submissions. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics processes website usage information for us. These providers may process information outside the UK under the safeguards set out in their data protection terms. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information while The Web Assistant is being developed and for as long as you want to receive updates. We remove it when you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, unless we need to retain a limited record to honour your request or meet a legal obligation. Analytics information is retained only for the period configured in our analytics service and is reviewed regularly.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to how it is used. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contactinfo@thewebassistant.com to make a request.

You have the right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time.

Cookies

We store your cookie choice in your browser so the site remembers it. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics cookies are used to distinguish visits and produce aggregated reports.
